Selvaraghavan’s 2014 romantic drama film 7G Rainbow Colony is one of the biggest blockbusters in Tamil cinema. The film had Ravi Krishna and Sonia Agarwal in the lead roles and had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. 7G Rainbow Colony was simultaneously shot in Telugu under the title, 7/G Brindavan Colony which was also a huge hit. Following the success, the movie was later remade in Bengali as Prem Amar, as Balunga Toka in Odia and, in Kannada as Gilli. And now the 7G Rainbow Colony is being made in Bollywood under the title Malaal.
The Hindi remake has Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal in the lead roles and the movie is directed by Mangesh Hadawale. Malaal is jointly produced under the Bhansali Productions and T-Series banners and has music by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The trailer of the movie came out a few days and fans were surprised to some big changes when compared to the original version.
And now, the team has released a new video song titled Aila Re from the movie. Aila Re, composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali is sung by Vishal Dadlani and Shreyas Puranik (Rap) with lyrics from Prashant Ingole.
