After Petta, next film again with Vijay Sethupathi
Petta which released for Pongal under Karthik Subbaraj's direction had ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth in the lead. Manikandan R. Achari who made his Tamil debut with this movie and has won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his very first movie Kammatipaadam.
He has joined the team of Vijay Sethupathi’s Maamanithan with Seenu Ramasamy. This project is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja under his YSR productions along with Karthik Raja’s K productions. This movie will mark the 3rd collaboration for the actor, director and music director.
The major attraction of Maamanithan is that three musicians are coming together for the first time to compose music. Yes, ‘Isaignani’ Ilaiyaraja along with his sons Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja will be composing the music.
