Actor Ashok Selvan who was last seen in ace filmmaker Priyadarshan's Sila Samayangalil is currently working in his next film titled Nenjamellam Kadhal directed by Nirman. The actor is also working on several other projects that are likely to hit the screens in 2019. The latest update is that the actor will once again be joinings hands with director Priyadarshan to play a crucial role in his upcoming Malayalam periodic film titled Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham which has Mohanlal playing the role of Kunjali Marakkar.
It is the second time the actor is collaborating with Priyadarshan and he was seen playing a very unique character in Sila Samayangalil and it can be safely said that his role in this film is also going to be very intriguing. It is touted that the actor will be playing a negative role in this periodic film and it is the first time Ashok Selvan will be seen in a grey shade. This historical movie is set in the 1700s and also stars actor Prabhu, Arjun, and Suniel Shetty playing pivotal roles.
