The upcoming horror film, Kaatteri, to be directed by Deekay of Yaamirukka Bayamey was announced a while being produced under the Studio Green banner.
Although current sensation Oviya was cast as the female lead initially, the actress has now been replaced.
Post the success of her debut film, Meesaya Murukku, last year, Aathmika is rising up to be a big find in the Tamil film industry as she has now replaced Oviya as one of the female leads in Kaatteri.
The upcoming film will include Vaibhav as the male lead after his performance won hearts in last year’s hit, Meyaadha Maan.
Furthermore, Kaatteri also includes actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as one of the heroines and is now one of the busiest stars in the industry.
In addition, actress Sonam Bajwa, who last appeared in Tamil in the 2014 film, Kappal, also opposite Vaibhav is the third and final female lead in Kaatteri for which filming is expected to kick-start from June.
