Horror films have always had enjoyed a popularity unlike any other genre and the makers of Nagesh Thiraiyarangam will be counting on their film to click among fans when it comes out on February 16. Directed by Mohamad Issack under the Transindia Media & Entertainment Private Limited banner with music by Srikanth Deva, the film will be arriving on screens finally after filming wrapped up last year.

Nagesh Thiraiyarangam stars Aari as a real estate agent, who is looking to sell the Nagesh theatre he owns.

Ashna Zaveri plays the female lead in this horror flick that tells the tale about a haunted theatre.

Actor Athulya is playing Aari’s sister, who is both deaf and dumb in the film.

Newcomer Masoom Shankar has been cast as the female lead in the film after the makers came to learn her talent in Kathak along with histrionics.

With promotion already underway, actor Aari in an exclusive interview with Galatta spoke about his character in the film.

Aari revealed that unlike other Tamil horror films, that showcase their heroes as being brave in the face of an impending horror, his character is a total opposite to previous iterations and will show him as how any normal human would react to the situation as being scared.

This is quite interesting and raises the curiosity as to how Aari will eventually overcome his fears to tackle the horror that awaits in Nagesh Thiraiyarangam.
