Bollywood star Aamir Khan was last seen in the big venture periodic film titled Thugs of Hindostan alongside Amitabh Bachchan which went on to perform decently well at the box office. The film was said to be an adaptation of the Hollywood film Pirates of the Caribbean. The actor has now officially announced his next film which sure is a big one again. Aamir Khan will next be seen in the film titled 'Lal Singh Chaddha' which will be a storyline adapted from one of the best Hollywood films ever, Tom Hanks’ classic ‘Forrest Gump’. Forrest Gump is a film directed by Robert Zemeckis, released in 1994 which went on to win six Oscars, including best picture, best director and best actor for Hanks.



This big project will be directed by Advait Chandan who earlier made 'Secret Superstar' with Aamir Khan which hit the screens in 2017. It is the second time the duo are joinings hands and this project will be bankrolled by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions together. Speaking about this to the media, the actor even mentioned that he has bought the rights  Paramount officially and is very excited to work on this film. He stated that he has always had a great liking towards ‘Forrest Gump’ and it would be a great honor to reprise the role of Tom Hanks.
