As announced few days back, A. R. Rahman performed yesterday at the 'Netru Indru Naalai' tribute concert honoring Tamil Nadu on the occasion of the 25th year of his illustrious musical journey.
During the concert, the Academy Award winner took the opportunity to thank actor Vijay for last year’s Mersal, which went on to become a smash success.
It must be noted that A. R. Rahman has come on board Vijay’s next tentatively being called Thalapathy 62 and/or Vijay 62 under A. R. Murgadoss’s direction.
This will mark the fourth time ARR will be scoring for a Vijay film after Udhaya (2005), Azhagiya Tamil Magan (2007) and Mersal.
