A.R. Rahman to be honored by DTS
Oscar-Grammy winning music maestro A.R. Rahman will be felicitated by the Delhi Tamil Sangam (DTS) on March 31. The Academy Award winner will be honoured along with Dr. Prathap Chandra Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Group, D.R. Karthikeyan, former CBI Director and J.R. Krishnamurthy, renowned Siddha doctor.
The Editor of Dinamani K. Vaidhyanathan, Secretary of the Delhi Tamil Sangam Sakthi Perumal and Patron Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetti will felicitate the awardees.
Meanwhile, the music genius is all set to embark on a highly-anticipated US tour in June to wow South Asian audiences in nine cities. Starting with a performance at the Nassau Coliseum in New York on June 11, the 'A.R. Rahman Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour' will travel to Atlantic City, New Jersey, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Houston.
