Four time National Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman is one of the busiest celebrities in the Tamil film industry at present.
ARR, whose Mersal released last year went on to become a chartbuster album last year, has as many as seven films lined up next.
Meanwhile, the Academy Award-winning composer has now received yet another new and big honor by being named as the Brand Ambassador for the North-Eastern state, Sikkim.
Rahman also took to the dias to give an acceptance speech after receiving the honor from Sikkim Chief Minister, Pawan Kumar Chamling at the Sikkim Red Panda Winter Carnival 2017-18 at Gangtok, the annual tourism event which was organized by the state tourism department. It is said he will also compose an anthem that promotes tourism in the state.
Fans are now looking forward to his first big film of 2018, Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0.
