When the announcement came around that Vijay’s next would be helmed by A. R. Murugadoss, the excitement levels shot up to sky-reaching heights.
Tentatively being called Vijay 62 and/or Thalapathy 62, Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman has begun the composing work for this Sun Pictures production venture as per latest reports.
Rahman recently revealed how he has roped in singer Bamba Bakya for a song in Thalapathy 62 after the two had previously collaborated for Rajinikanth’s upcoming sci-fi action venture, 2.0.
On the other hand, Keerthy Suresh is said to have allotted bulk dates for Vijay 62 after being mighty impressed with A. R. Murugadoss’s story.
As for Vijay 62’s production, Vijay is expected to come back from his short vacation in China later this week following which filming will begin towards the end of this month or early February.
As of now, the search for a villain to be cast in the film is still ongoing along with actors for supporting roles.
