AR Murugadoss's Explanation On Police Arrest Controversy

A film that is seeing tremendous response at the box office, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar also starring Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Pala. Karuppiah, Yogi Babu under A. R. Murugadoss’s direction has seen quite a lot of controversies over the past few days. Produced under the Sun Pictures banner with music by A. R. Rahman, the film has now gotten embroiled in a political controversy post its release with the state’s ruling government.
Last night, the entire Tamil film fraternity as well as countless fans were in for a shock when news came about stating the police had arrived at director A. R. Murugadoss’s house to arrest him. Contrary reports too surfaced stating the police force had assembled at the Sarkar director’s home in order to provide him with protection.
That said, A. R. Murugadoss himself took to his Twitter page to clear the air on the confusion that prevailed last night stating the police had banged the door of his house several times before leaving the premises after realizing he wasn’t there.
