The second schedule of Darbar commenced from May 29 and will be a month long one. "Superstar" Rajinikanth's portions are said to have wrapped up and that he has flown down to Chennai. With the rest of the cast, the shooting is being held at Mumbai. We all are aware of the fact that cinematographer Santosh Sivan will be cranking the camera for Rajinikanth's film, after Thalapathi in the year 1991. On account of his son's birthday Rajinikanth, the man himself has wished Santosh Sivan's son Sarvajit on his 13th birthday. Check out the video below!
Funded by Lyca productions, Darbar is directed by AR Murugadoss, with Nayantara as the female lead. The movie also features Suneil Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu and Sriman.
The technical crew of Darbar comprises of Anirudh Ravichandar composing the tunes, Sreekar Prasad providing the cuts. This will be Rajini's first movie as a cop, after Pandian which released in the year 1992. Pongal 2020 is when Darbar has been planned to be released.
