Kollywood’s first ever science fiction, space exploration movie is finally out. The teaser of Tik Tik Tik looks mind-blowingly good in a lot of ways and definitely a new milestone for Tamil cinema.

A lot of things are packed into the short 1-minute teaser and you might have possibly missed some of these amazing things in the movie.

Jayam Ravi is a Thief

Jayam Ravi is held in chains and is in prison when he throws the joker card. Similar to many Hollywood movies, we guess he is a trained thief hired to join the space mission to retrieve the nuclear content.

It’s His Son Aarav

The last few seconds of the teaser when the young boy calls him Appa is actually Jayam Ravi’s own son Aarav who makes his first ever film debut.

Nivetha Pethuraj is Sandra Bullock!

While some scenes in Tik Tik Tik teaser reminds us of films like Gravity and Interstellar, it is great to see Nivetha Pethuraj playing a female astronaut rather than the usual heroine with no prominent role. She accompanies Jayam Ravi on the space ship as confirmed by the clip at the 00:36 seconds in the video.
