Airaa, the most anticipated movie of ‘Lady Superstar’ Nayanthara directed by Sarjun KM, who made waves with his short films Lakshmi and Maa, debuted as feature film director with Echcharikai-Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam.

Produced by KJR Studios, Airaa has music composed by KR Sundaramurthy with the team recently releasing the teaser, which went on to create huge expectations among fans for Nayanthara’s new avatar.

Meanwhile, the first single track ‘Meghathoodham’ sung by Padmapriya Raghavan with lyrics penned by Thamarai from the upcoming horror thriller was released to a positive response.

Now, the director in his official statement explains about the tagline 'Bhavani’s Anthem' saying, “I am sure, for the ones who have already listened to the track, they would have easily found the answer. It’s a song that beautifies the emotions of a character called ‘Bhavani’, her dreams, aspirations and yearning for a heavenly life with her soulmate,”.

When talking about the singer, lyricist and music director combo he stated, “These three wizardries remain inseparable in delivering a beautiful song that is now being ennobled as slow poison. Thamarai mam is always known as the elixir of emotions, where she elevates the feeling of love unconditionally through her lyrics. While composing the song, Sundaramurthy was very much focused that the lyrics and vocalisms should have clarity, thereby keeping the instrumentals too mild, which has intensified the impact. Padmapriya Raghavan’s rendition has contributed so much to the song’s success,”

He also added a surprising fact about Nayanthara’s performance in Airaa saying, “It’s her 63rd film and the way I admired watching her performances as a fan to this point of directing her, I see that Nayanthara mam has just keeps upgrading herself as phenomenal performer. I am sure; audiences will be enthralled watching Two-dimensional Nayanthara(s) in this film, especially for her character of ‘Bhavani’.”
