2.0 is a standalone sequel to Enthiran directed by S.Shankar with Superstar Rajnikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson playing the lead roles. This movie produced by Lyca Productions is the Tamil debut for Akshay Kumar. The music score for the movie is composed by A.R.Rahman. Resul Pookutty handled the sound designing for the movie. He is an award-winning Indian film sound designer, sound editor, and mixer.

 


In his twitter handle, he shared a happy news of  2.0 entering the nomination for Golden Reel award. This is the highest recognition for the sound design. We wish it grabs the award this year.
