Gearing up for a massive Diwali release later this year, Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay under Atlee’s direction is being produced by AGS Entertainment.
With music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, Vijay 63, touted to be a sports drama also includes Nayanthara as the female lead followed by Kathir, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Anandraj, Daniel Balaji, Dheena among others in supporting roles.
With production on Thalapathy 63 already progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai, Atlee conveyed across his wishes to director and lyricist Vignesh Shivn and composer Anirudh Ravichander for their “Marakkavillayae” song in the upcoming Nani and Shraddha Srinath starrer, Jersey, which revolves around cricket.
That said, Vignesh Shivn expressed his gratitude to Atlee in his own style saying it is a mighty gesture on the Mersal director’s part to take time to listen to the song despite his busy schedule with Vijay 63.
