An exciting film right from the get go, Asuran marks the fourth-time association of National Award winners Vetrimaaran and Dhanush and this time under Kalaipuli S. Thanu’s V Creations banner.
Featuring music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, Asuran starring Manju Warrier as the female lead is an adaptation of the acclaimed novel, Vekkai, with the film’s second schedule at present taking place in and around Tirunelveli and Kovilpatti.
Meanwhile, shooting spot images have now surfaced from the Asuran sets showing reputed filmmaker Balaji Sakthivel as a policeman, whom we had revealed a few days back would be a part of the film.
That said, it has now also been confirmed that Tamil Nadu State Award-winning actor Pasupathi has joined Asuran’s shoot and this marks his second time association with Dhanush after their Sullan in 2004, in which he played the villain.
Asuran has massive expectations around it after Dhanush and Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai released last year went on to reap accolades from all corners.
