It has been speculated that the singer is in a relationship with popular music director Gopi Sundar whose work ranges from Bangalore Naatkal, Kaayamkulam Kochunni and most recent sensational film Geetha Govindham. Both are well respected and appreciated for their work in the field of music and now Abhaya Hiranmayi has openly come forward and made an official announcement regarding her relationship status with Gopi Sundar. 


On the occasion of Valentine’s day, the singer Abhaya Hiranmayi poster on her facebook page about her relationship. In the post, she has said that she had been in a relationship with Gopi Sundar and been living together with him for 8 years now. She has stated that he is a married guy who is legally trapped in a marriage and also that she has not been married to anyone. The couple has an age difference of 12 years and she has feared judgment from people is why she was keeping the relationship confidential. She states she is no longer afraid of the judgments and she is done running away.  This bold move of the singer has created a great buzz over the internet.
