Naan Than Bala Movie review
Directed by Kannan, Naan Thaan Bala stars actor Vivekh, Swetha and Venkatraj in the lead roles. Mayilsamy, Cell Murugan, Dhruva and Lavanya are seen in supporting roles. This film is produced by J. A Lawrence under the banner SSS Entertainments. Venkat Krishi has scored the music for the film. Azhagiya Manalavan is the man behind the camera and V. Vijay has edited the film.
The story starts off with Bala (Vivekh) who is a priest living with his parents. Suddenly, his father gets arrested for a robbery which he never committed. There comes a point where his father will be freed in exchange of money. Bala also tries his best to bring back his father from jail but all his attempts ends up in vain. One day Poochi (Venkatraj) comes to help Bala. Bala is so humbled by Poochi’s help and judges him as a good person. But, Poochi seems to be a paid assassin and has other plans in his mind. Will Poochi’s plan work out? Will Bala be able to free his father? Then, head to the theatres to watch Naan Thaan Bala.
Vivekh has come out of his shell and has tried to enact a serious role. Well, Vivekh’s acting has exceeded expectations and has given one of his career best. Kannan’s screenplay drags at times, but is compensated by Vivekh’s acting. The sequences of Bala and Poochi’s relationship have come out very well. Actress Swetha has given her best and has supported the film very well. Cinematography by Azhagiya Manavalan and Venkat Krish’s songs are perfect for the story.
Naan Thaan Bala is a different attempt and a film to be watched for its unique story and Vivekh’s acting.
