Komban Movie review
Style, nativity, elegance, compassion and bravery - all this is packed in Komban. Karthi's looks and action is power packed. Komban directed by Muthiah and produced by Studio Green has Karthi, Lakshmi Menon, Rajkiran, Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunas and Super Subbarayan. GV Prakash has scored music and Praveen KL has fine tuned the film with his editing. Velraj's cinematography retains the rural feel throughout the movie. Read along to know more about Komban
Komban is a bold guy who does not compromise on his self respect to anybody for any reason. He does not listen to anybody except for his brother (Karunas). His actions speak more than his words. He does anything for his people. He once rubs off with Gundan Ramasamy (Super Subbarayan) on an issue regarding the village head post. The consequences he faces follows in the rest of the plot.
On the other hand, Komban has a cute love story with his wife Pazhani (Lakshmi Menon) and his father in law Muthiah (Rajkiran). The strength of Komban is this new attempt of elaborating on this delicate relationship between a father in law and son in law. This is something we have not seen often in Tamil Cinema.
If Karthi suits it as the perfect Komban, who else can play the role so meticulously than Rajkiran? He scores in every shot and he is a big asset to Tamil Cinema. The initial glitches and the gradual unfolding of the bonding and making it stronger makes it a delight to watch.
Kovai Sarala has played a shuttle role and proves once again that she can carry any role with ease on her shoulders. The script is well etched and is fast paced enough to keep you occupied from start to end. Proving all the rumours as false, Komban is a neat family entertainer that speaks about the intricacies in the relationships. The team has tried their best to bring about the rural life on screen and they are successful too.
Komban in one line - fast paced family entertainer
