The menacing Bhallaladeva of Baahubali is back on screen as a Lt.Commander Arjun Varma. Ghazi, which is set in the backdrop of Vishakapattinam is about the sinking of the Pakistani submarine at the Vishakapattinam port. Sankalp Reddy has doesn’t look like a first-time director as he has sketched screenplay with so much finesse. Starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee, Atul Kulkarni and Kay Kay Menon, this film is jointly produced by PVP Cinemas and Matinee Entertainment. Cinematographer Madhi, editor Sreekar Prasad and music director K are part of the technical team.
Sankalp’s impeccable writing keeps you engrossed in the tale. The details in the movie will make you feel attached to the script.
Cinematography by Madhi is a huge plus to the movie as it transports us to the period when the actual incident took place.
Along with ace cinematographer, it is the VFX team that needs a special mention. The breathtaking visuals compliment the story well.
Sankalp’s attention to minute details to the script has made the movie less preachy and it certainly invokes patriotism.
Every tense moment on screen is highlighted by K’s background score. It is evident that he has given his career best.
Rana Daggubati’s level-headed performance as a Navy officer is commendable and it proves that he is versatile
Taapsee’s character could have had better screen presence in the movie.
The technical terms in the movie could have been cut short as sometimes it gets difficult to understand them.
