A FILM BY ARVIND Movie review
This is one-of-a-kind thriller story with a good story line. After a long time, we get to see a well-made thriller. The story revolves around Rishi (Richard) and Arvind (Rajiv Kanakala) who belong to Madurai and are childhood friends. Both of them work in the film Industry. Rishi becomes a actor and Arvind becomes a director. Arvind’s two movies become super hits with Rishi as the hero. While they are in discussion for their third project, they get to read a number of scripts given to them by storywriters. They get interested in one of the scripts but unfortunately, some of the pages of the script have been damaged by ink spilt on them. Because of their interest in this particular script, they go in search of the writer. Even after a long search, they are not able to locate the writer. At this time, they decide to visit their holiday retreat, far away from the city, to discuss the subject and complete the remaining script by themselves. On their way to the wooden retreat, they meet Niru (Mona Chopra) on the road, and give her a lift to her home because her car has broken down. Due to certain circumstances, Niru is forced to stay with them at theire holiday retreat. The thriller start here and they realize that every incident they come across relates to the script they had. The rest is a brilliant piece of thriller worth watching.
Richard has done an excellent job with good support from Rajiv. Mona Chopra has given a very good performance in her first Tamil movie. The cinematography can be compared to Hollywood standards. One of the main highlight is a car chasing scene which forms an integral part of the story. Most of the movie has been shot at night and adds spice to the thriller. The movie is well supported with excellent music and re-recording. Director Sekkar Soori, who has been trained under Ram Gopal Verma has given us a good movie. Since it is an all-out thriller, we don’t find any songs in the movie and the narration has been handled well to compensate the same.
IN CONCLUSION, IT’S A MUST SEE MOVIE FOR EVERY ONE.
