One of the busiest stars in Tamil cinema at present, comedian Yogi Babu has a long list of films lined up for the year ahead among which are biggies namely Bigil with Vijay, ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Darbar, Hero and SK 16 with Sivakarthikeyan, Jayam Ravi’s Comali, Jiiva's Gorilla, along with a few more notable projects in development. The superstar comedian is also set to be soon seen as the protagonist in the upcoming film, Dharmaprabhu, in the lead role under Muthukumaran’s direction, which also includes Justin Prabhakaran scoring the music.


With the film all set for its theatrical release on June 28, a new sneak peek from the film has been released. This scene has caught the attention of the audience and has seemed funny for the mainstream audience. It is a talkie scene between Yogi Babu, and his parents, played by Radha Ravi and Rekha.

Sri Vaari Films is bankrolling Dharmaprabhu with Yogi Babu in the lead role followed by Ramesh Thilak, Azhagam Perumal, Radha Ravi, Rekha, Janani Iyer, Sam Jones among others in vital supporting roles. Yogi Babu is portraying the role of the God of Death, Yama, while Janani Iyer is said to be playing an extended cameo in the film.

Apart from Dharmaprabhu, Yogi Babu will also be playing the lead in films like Gurkha, Zombie and Panni Kutty. Check out the sneak peek here:
