From Leader to the latest Mayakkam Enna, newcomer Richa Gangopadhyay has become an overnight sensation in South cinema. In an exclusive interview to Galatta.com Richa revealed that Mayakkam Enna was the best decision that she made in her career so far. "I have never made a better decisions in film, I am very happy that Selva sir considered me for the role of Yamini in Mayakkam Enna," she said.

On working with director Selvaraghavan, she said, "Selva is a complete task master and perfectionist. I have seen his film and I am a great fan of him." Richa also said that Yamini is infact her dream role as the character had lots of dimensions to it.

She was in full praise for her co-star Dhanush, "Working with Dhanush was wonderful but he helped me a lot with the body language, dialogues and expression," she added.
