Triple H announced his retirement from in-ring competition in an interview with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's "First Take". The WWE legend opened up about his future in the ring, insisting he'll never wrestle again due to severe health issues he has been facing recently. It is mainly his extreme heart condition that nearly put his life in jeopardy, which now requires him to have a defibrillator in his chest.

Fans, fellow wrestling personalities, and other WWE Hall of Famers including Ric Flair, Ryback, Beth Phoenix, William Regal, Bianca Belair, Adam Cole, Matt Hardy, Miro, Killer Kross and Andrade El Idolo among others sent countless tributes to 'The Game' by congratulating him on an incredible in-ring career.

This health situation of Triple H is not something new or out of the blue. He had earlier detailed a scary medical situation of his where he says he almost died in late 2021. The 52-year-old has not been seen wrestling for quite some time and it was rumored that his wrestling days were over following the aforementioned cardiac incident. Triple H's last televised match was nearly 3 years back in 2019 when he was defeated by Randy Orton in Saudi Arabia.

Triple H is one of the pioneers in the industry with a career spanning almost 30 years where he has won multiple titles throughout his tenure as a WWE superstar. As a 14-time World Champion, he is easily one of the most decorated Superstars in WWE history. Triple H famously co-founded the iconic faction, D-Generation X, for which he got inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame.

Apart from dominating the wrestling world, Triple H has also starred in a fair share of movies such as Blade: Trinity, The Chaperone and Inside out among others. But he is not just limited to feature films alone and has also participated to voice of characters in animated films like Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery, Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon, etc. The professional wrestler has also tested out the world of television by making appearances in Pacific Blue, The Drew Carey Show and Robot Chicken.
