Suseenthiran's Maveeran Kittu, which has Vishnu Vishal and Sri Divya in the lead, has cleared the censor formalities with a clean U certificate. The film is ready to grace theatres on Dec 2. Set in the 80s in a small village called Puthur, the film is inspired by a series of real-life events. Vishnu will play a student who hails from a poor family while Parthiban, who owns a printing press, is his well-wisher and sponsor. A social issue changes both their lives and the struggle begins.

In an interview to a leading English daily, director Suseenthiran has revealed he has added his own imagination to the incident so the outcome of the real incident is going to be completely different from the story he shows on screen. The film is produced by Nallu Samy Pictures and Asian Cine Combines.
