2023 started with the massive movie release of two mega stars, Ajith's Thunivu and Vijay's Varisu on the same day. It called for a celebration among stars in theatres. In February, projects from various upcoming and well-known actors were released. Run Baby Run, Dada, and Vaathi were some of the flicks that attracted the audience to the theatres. Bagheera:
This Prabhu Deva starrer psycho-thriller film is set to be released on March 3rd. The film has multiple heroines Amyra Dastur, Sakshi Agarwal, Sonia Agarwal, Ramya Nambeesan, Janani, Sanchitha Sheety, Gayathrie Shankar and Pragathi directed by Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame director Adhik Ravichandran. The trailer of the film was released this Sunday and has attracted the attention of the audience as Prabhu Deva can be seen in rocking multiple looks for the first time.
Ayothi:
Ayothi is a film directed by Manthira Moorthy with Sasikumar in the lead role. The director-turned-actor takes up the role of an ambulance driver in the film with Yashpal Sharma, Preethi Asrani, Pugazh and Bose Venkat in significant roles. The trailer of the film was launched during the Pongal festival and included a surprising voice over from Vijay Sethupathi. It is also scheduled for release on March 3.
Pallu Padama Paathuka
The film, directed by Youtuber Vijay Varadaraj, has Attakathi Dinesh and Sanchitha Shetty in lead roles. The Zombie apocalyptic movie is touted to be a comedy flick that will also feature Motta Rajendran, Dheena, Sha Ra and other YouTubers, The trailer of the film was released in 2018 and has been in the pipeline for a long time. It is set to hit theatres on March 3.
Agilan
Jayam Ravi has taken up the role of a harbour worker in this action film that’s set to release on March 10. It will be the first release of the year for the busy actor who has many projects in the pipeline. The film directed by N Kalayanakrishnan has Priya Bhavani Shankar, Harish Uthaman, Tarun Arora, Tanya Ravichandran and others in supporting roles with music composed by Sam CS. The trailer of the film was launched recently and the movie can be enjoyed on a big screen on March 10.

The upcoming Tamil film will feature Jiivi fame actor Vetri in the lead role with Parvathy Arun and Ramesh Thilak in important roles. The film directed by Syam Praveen is to be released in theatres on March 10, 2023.

The trailer of the action thriller film was released two years ago and created excitement among movie buffs. It features Michael Thangadurai with Anupama Kumar, Gabriella Selus, and Afsal Hameed in important roles and is set to release on March 17.
Pathu Thala
The STR starrer film directed by Obeli Krishnan is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It is set to release on March 30 with music composed by AR Rahman. The film comes after STR’s hits Maanadu and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
