In an interesting turn, director Gautham Menon revealed that his superhit romantic saga Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa was initially planned with Dhanush in mind. However, the Kolaveri boy gave a diplomatic answer and said that he cannot be as classy as Simbu. “I am a local boy. I’m not sure I could have carried it off like him. I’m not at all classy like Simbu,” he says.
