The audio launch of Thalapathy Vijay's much awaited Bigil, happened on September 19th. This was a grand event, which was attended by the entire cast and crew of Bigil with many top celebrities in attendance. Most of them expressed their awe and admiration for Thalapathy Vijay and director Atlee and one of them to wax eloquently was actor Vivekh, who is reuniting with Vijay on screen, after 11 years since Kuruvi. While talking at the audio launch, Vivekh compared the 'Nenjil Kudi Irukkum' song from Bigil with another similar such song from an old Sivaji Ganesan movie, titled Irumbu Thirai. This set off tremors when Sivaji fans from the 'Sivaji Samooha Nala Peravai' took offense to it and lodged protests. Now, Vivekh has posted a new tweet in this regard.

Vivekh's tweet clarifies that there is indeed a song starting with 'Nenjil Kudi Irukkum' in the 1960 Sivaji Ganesan starrer Irumbu Thirai but mentioned that this song gave a romantic feel while the 'Nenjil Kudi Irukkum' song sung by Thalapathy Vijay had a magical attraction to it. He mentioned that this is what he had meant in his speech at the audio launch and asked all the lovely hearts to understand this. This new post triggered polarised opinions with many Vijay followers mentioning that they wholeheartedly support him and his words while a few people questioned his way of comparing the Bigil audio launch crowd to the crowd gathered to witness the Athi Varadhar.

Now, with the audio launch out of the way, all of Vijay's fans are waiting with bated breath for Bigil's trailer, which is expected to be unveiled in the first week of October. Directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment, Bigil stars Thalapathy Vijay, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Daniel Balaji, Vivekh, Kathir, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Intraja Shankar, Amritha Aiyer and a number of other stars. AR Rahman has composed the music while GK Vishnu has handled the cinematography and Ruben is taking care of the editing of this movie. Bigil is slated to hit the screens for this Deepavali!
