Leading Tamil actor-producer Vishal's next film, Veeramae Vaagai Soodum, recently had an action-packed teaser released, which has not only received stellar feedback but also raised curiosity among the fans. The upcoming mass action thriller directed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan has music by chart-buster composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and has been produced under the Vishal Film Factory banner. Announced to arrive in theatres on January 26, promotions are in full swing for Veeramae Vaagai Soodum as the makers on Friday on the festive occasion of Pongal released the much-awaited 'Thithikkirathe Kangal' video song that has been shot on Vishal and the film's heroine Dimple Hayathi.

Sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja, 'Thithikkirathe Kangal' is a lilting romantic number in Veeramae Vaagai Soodum and will no doubt appeal to the composer's fans everywhere and includes lyrics penned by Vivek. The film and its music are a major USP considering it marks the reunion for Vishal and Yuvan after the two had previously collaborated in Sandakozhi, Thimiru, Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai, Avan Ivan, Irumbu Thirai, and Chakra to name a notable few. 'Thithikkirathe Kangal' has also been released in Telugu as 'Matthikkinche Kalley' and the version of Veeramae Vaagai Soodum releasing in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana has been titled Saamanyudu

The buzz for Veeramae Vaagai Soodum shot up after an action-packed teaser for the film was released three weeks back showing Vishal in a stunt sequence where he takes on several baddies at a single time. As the film's tagline 'Rise of a Common Man' suggests, it will be centered around a single man taking on the injustices in society. Dimple Hayathi, who was earlier seen in the Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah-starrer Devi 2, will be looking to hit the bullseye this time with Vishal. The rest of the cast of Veeramae Vaagai Soodum features Yogi Babu, Marimuthu, Tulasi, Kavitha Bharathi, RNR Manohar, Baburaj, Billy Murali, Raveena Ravi, K. S. G. Venkatesh, Mariyam George, Black Sheep Deepti among others cast in pivotal roles.
