Actor-producer Vishal is in high spirits after the success of his Enemy, which came out as a Diwali release in theatres last month. Directed by Iru Mugan fame Anand Shankar, the action thriller was produced by Vinod Kumar's Mini Studios banner and featured Arya as the antagonist with his on-screen chemistry alongside Vishal turning out to be a big highlight. On Thursday, Vishal took to social media to drop another major announcement on his next film, the tentatively titled Vishal 33, which will reunite him with producer Vinod Kumar after their Enemy

Taking to Twitter, Vishal announced that his Vishal 33 will be a big-budget pan-Indian venture and will be directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara and Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan fame. Sharing a photo of himself along with Vinod Kumar and Adhik, Vishal wrote, "All set to reunite for a Big budget PAN INDIAN film to be written & directed by @Adhikravi & produced by @vinod_offl #V33 #Vishal #Vishal33". Vishal 33 will also be Adhik Ravichandran's next after he recently completed his adult psychological thriller Bagheera starring Prabhu Deva, Amyra Dastur, Gayathrie Shankar, Janani, Sakshi Agarwal among others. He is also awaiting the release of Kadhalai Thedi Nithya Nandha, which reunited him with composer turned actor G. V. Prakash Kumar after the super success of their 2015 film Trisha Illana Nayanthara

As for Vishal, he will be seen next in Veerame Vaagai Soodum, which has been announced for a worldwide theatrical release on January 26, 2022. Directed by newcomer Thu Pa Saravanan, the action thriller film has Devi 2 and Atrangi Re actress Dimple Hayathi playing the female lead, with Yogi Babu in a pivotal role and music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vishal is currently acting in the cop-action drama Laththi being directed by debutant A. Vinod Kumar, and stars Sunainaa as the female lead, making it her second collaboration after Samar. Vishal will also be reprising his Kaniyan Poongundran character in Thupparivaalan 2, which incidentally will see him making his directorial debut, with music by 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja.
