With Kajol playing an important role, it is easy to predict that VIP 2 should get its due release in Hindi. The movie has been certified a clean U for both the Hindi and the Telugu versions.

The first part which was titled as Raghuvaran in Telugu was a massive hit in the neighboring state because of the engineering theme. Being a movie full of fights and punch dialogs combined with a realistic story, VIP 2 easily has the potential to be another hit in other languages apart from Tamil.

Dhanush announced that the movie has been cleared by the censor board. It will release in Hindi and Telugu on August 18th, a week later after the Tamil version gets launched. VIP 2 is produced by V Creations and Wunderbar Films.
