'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) banner has released an electrifying new promo from Vikram featured on Suriya as the kingpin of the drug syndicate and 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action thriller's plot revolved extensively around Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil before Suriya as Rolex is introduced towards the final moments of the film. In the latest Vikram promo, we see glimpses of Suriya as Rolex in his thunderous act, which left fans and critics everywhere impressed. 

Suriya's character Rolex has been a revelation after the release of Vikram as fans have been expressing their adoration for the actor's power-packed performance, which although was for a short duration, is on par with the film's lead stars, according to many critics. With Suriya as Rolex revealed to be the mastermind behind the crimes in Vikram and the character also having a connection to Karthi's Kaithi in 2019, fans expect bigger moments in storytelling in the 'Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe', possibly in Kaithi 2 and/or Vikram 3. 

Vikram has Kamal Haasan reprising his role as the RAW agent from the 1986 film of the same title, with Vijay Sethupathi playing the antagonist, followed by Fahadh Faasil cast as Commander of the black-ops squad, while Narain, Chemban Vinod Jose, Kalidas Jayaram, Santhana Bharathi, Elango Kumaravel, Vasanthi, Gayathrie Shankar, G. Marimuthu, Aruldoss, Gowtham Sundararajan, Maya S. Krishnan, Maheshwari Chanakyan, Shivani Narayanan, Myna Nandhini, Sampath Ram, Ramesh Thilak, Jaffer Sadiq, among others are seen in pivotal roles. Furthermore, Arjun Das, Harish Uthaman, Dheena, Hareesh Peradi, and Baby Monica from Kaithi too make cameo appearances, while Karthi reprises his role as Dilli from the same film in a voiceover in Vikram, which has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
