'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's Vikram has completed 100 days in its theatrical run and the iconic Tamil superstar has now shared an audio note on social media thanking fans for their support in making the film a mammoth commercial and critical success. He said, "Greetings. The film Vikram has completed 100 days with the support of fans. I'm extremely happy. From the bottom of my heart, I embrace each and every one of you across different generations for enjoying what I have done. I convey my heartfelt gratitude to all who played a role in the success of Vikram. To my dear brother Lokesh, my love and congratulations." Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced under the Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI) banner, Vikram also starred 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, followed by Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil playing the role of black-ops squad commander, while Suriya appeared in an explosive cameo as the character Rolex. The action thriller went on to become the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2022 and is also now the fourth highest-grossing Tamil venture of all time. Apart from the power-packed performances by the lead stars and the ensemble supporting cast, 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander once again hit the high note with his songs and background score, which turned out to be a major USP for the success of Vikram. 

Vikram continued to witness a strong crowd turnout in theatres and cinema halls everywhere even after it premiered on the Disney+ Hotstar. The 100-day milestone is indeed a rarity in this day and age when films get pulled out of theatres in quick time and also due to the advent of OTT streaming platforms. Vikram broke several records on the OTT streaming platform after its release and registered its highest-ever opening weekend viewership, subscription, and watch time on Disney+ Hotstar.
