Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj made heads turn in his debut venture, the action thriller, Maanagaram, which went on to become one of the most lauded films of 2017. The director has been in the spotlight of late after it was revealed that he is going to direct actor Vijay next in the tentatively titled, Thalapathy 64. Ever since the revelation, each of his statements on his Twitter page is being looked up keenly by fans with the director now sharing his happiness over the Indian Cricket Team’s victory over the Pakistan Cricket Team in the 2019 World Cup match that took place yesterday at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Greater Manchester, England. The Indian team’s win is the seventh continuous victory in a World Cup against Pakistan and was yet again a high stakes clash, which saw Team India set a target of 337 for Pakistan to chase, who eventually fell short by 89 runs and scored only 212 for the loss of 6 wickets after the target was revised to 302 to be scored in 40 overs under the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS).
