An actor, who is at present attached to several projects, Vijay Sethupathi has the mass action entertainer, Sanga Thamizhan, being helmed by director Vijay Chander of Vaalu and Sketch fame. Being produced under the esteemed Vijaya Productions banner, the film has been carrying massive expectations with broadcasting giant, Sun TV, acquiring the satellite rights not long back. With Vijay Sethupathi set to be playing dual roles in the film, director Vijay Chander has revealed to us saying, “We are currently filming Sanga Thamizhan in Karaikudi and will be coming to Chennai next to shoot a mass intro song,”.
Sanga Thamizhan is being planned for an October 2 release in light of the Ayudha Pooja holidays with the film’s cast also including names like Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj as the female leads with Vijay Sethupathi’s daughter, Shreeja, too making her acting debut. Despite not much being revealed about the film, the first look poster unveiled a few months back featuring the star in an up-close shot received a thunderous response among the star’s hardcore fans. Sanga Thamizhan also has a highly talented technical team featuring names like Vivek-Mervin scoring the music, R. Velraj handling cinematography and Praveen K. L. taking care of editing.
