Catch the impressive teaser of Vijay Sethupathi's next big film with Nithya Menen!

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen have starred together in a new Malayalam film titled 19 (1)(a) and the film is ready for its release. 19 (1)(a) is Vijay Sethupathi's second Malayalam film after Marconi Mathaai and this one is a full-fledged role unlike the first where he played an extended cameo. 19 (1)(a) will skip the theatrical release and go for a direct OTT release on the Disney Hotstar platform and the official announcement about it was made, last week. That being said, the makers have now released the official teaser of the film and it looks promising.

The teaser has a compilation of shots featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen and it is refreshing to witness the two powerhouse performers together. Vijay Sethupathi plays a writer in the film while Nithya Menen runs a xerox shop. The film is expected to explore the relationship between the two lead characters and how a story penned by Vijay Sethupathi has an impact on them. From what we see, it looks like 19 (1)(a) will be a breezy feel good drama that will be strong on emotions. Govind Vasantha's breezy score adds more life to the teaser and uplifts the emotions neatly.
The film is directed by debutant Indhu VS. Produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company in association with Neeta Pinto's Ann Mega Media, 19 (1)(a) has cinematography handled by Manesh Madhav while Manoj has edited the film. Indrajith Sukumaran plays a pivotal role in the film alongside several other talented actors, including Indrans, Srikant Murali, Atulya Ashadam, Bagath Manuel, and Deepak Parambol. The exact release date of the film is yet to be officially announced by the makers and further updates are awaited. Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in Seenu Ramasamy's Maamanithan which is currently streaming on the Aha Tamil platform.
