Jawan will be Vijay Sethupathi's next big venture in Hindi as he is currently awaiting the release of his Bollywood debut in Mumbaikar, an official remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Tamil hit Maanagaram. He is also at present shooting for Andhadhun director Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas, which features Katrina Kaif, and he will also be seen in The Family Man fame Raj and DK duo's next web series titled Farzi alongside Shahid Kapoor, Raashii Khanna and Regina Cassandra. Vijay Sethupathi is fresh off his spectacular performance as the antagonist in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, which also stars Fahadh Faasil and Suriya, and is the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2022. It will be mighty interesting to witness the Maamanithan actor in action on the big screen once again as a villain and this time in Jawan as his chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan is expected to be electric.

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is a special film for Atlee, leading South Indian actress Nayanthara and 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander as all three are making their debut in Bollywood. One of the most-awaited films in recent times, expectations for the high-octane action thriller are massive as it marks Shah Rukh Khan's big-screen comeback after his Zero in 2018. Billed to be "an explosive entertainer", Jawan is a pan-Indian venture and will open in cinemas worldwide on June 2, 2023.
