Bankrolled by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators and co-produced by Seven Screen Studio, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master also starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist was the first big-budget film to hit theatres after the lockdown. The film shattered all barriers to set the box office on fire and once again revived the movie-watching experience in cinemas, while also spelling a fresh wave of celebrations among those in the film trade and theatre business. On the other hand, Lalit Kumar, who recently tasted huge success with the Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Samantha-starrer Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal directed by Vignesh Shivan, is now awaiting the release of their upcoming film, Cobra, with 'Chiyaan' Vikram hitting screens on August 11.
