Vijay Deverakonda is all pumped up for the pan Indian release of his next biggie, Liger, which is slated to hit the screens on August 25. Vijay Deverakonda has been actively involved in promoting the film and has been travelling across multiple cities. On Saturday, August 13, the grand pre-release event of Liger took place in Chennai in the presence of the fans and media. During the event, Vijay Deverakonda expressed his interest to be a part of director Lokesh Kanagaraj's film. Ever since the release of Vikram, the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU) has been a popular phrase among the moviegoers and films like Kaithi, and Vikram are already a part of the universe.

More characters and more films are expected to join the universe, provided Lokesh connects the dots. That being said, Vijay Deverakonda expressed his interest to be a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj's universe and also added his interest to work with directors like Vetri Maaran and Pa Ranjith. Talking about it, he said, "After NOTA, I am looking forward to working in many Tamil movies with directors like Vetri Maaran, Pa Ranjith, and Lokesh Kanagaraj. I have been in regular touch with all of them through the phone. I am waiting for the big day when Lokesh Kanagaraj will add me to his Universe". Quite exciting, right?

It looks like Lokesh Kanagaraj's cinematic universe is something that not just fans are looking forward to, but also leading star actors as well. Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh and features Ananya Panday as the female lead. Produced by Dharma Productions in association with Puri Connects, the film has Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and others in important roles. Boxing legend Mike Tyson would be playing a special cameo role in the film and it is going to be a visual treat for the fans to witness him alongside Vijay Deverakonda.
