Earlier this morning (May 24), a section of media reported that Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha were injured during the shoot of their upcoming film Kushi and the speculations made the fans worried. However, the makers have now clarified that there is no truth to the news, assuring that both Samantha and Vijay are doing completely fine and have returned to Hyderabad after finishing the shoot. The official statement from the makers of Kushi read, "Fake news alert: "There are few reports that #VijayDeverakonda and #Samantha were injured while shooting for #Kushi movie. There is no truth in this news. The entire team returned to Hyd yesterday after successfully completing 30 days of shooting in Kashmir. Dont believe such news".

This clarification from the makers has come as a sigh of relief for the fans. Details regarding the upcoming schedules are yet to be known and we will keep you posted about it. Kushi is touted to be a fun-filled family entertainer that will be high on romance. Kushi is directed by Shiva Nirvana of Ninnu Kori, Majili and Tuck Jagadish fame and the star filmmaker seems to have got an interesting premise in hand. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has music composed by the recent Hridayam sensation Hesham Abdul Wahab and interestingly, it will mark his debut in Tamil.
Murali G of Sarpatta Parambai, Kaala, and Kabali fame will be handling cinematography for this film which is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 23. The film will have a pan Indian release in 4 languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Vijay Deverakonda, meanwhile, is gearing up for the release of his next biggie, Liger which is set for release on August 25. Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh and features Ananya Panday as the female lead. On the other hand, Samantha was last seen in the recent Vignesh Shivan directorial, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal which emerged successful at the box office.
