Vijay Devarakonda is one of the handful celebrities to not shy away from speaking his heart out during the interviews. He is currently gearing up for his next release, Dear Comrade on July 26th. He is paired opposite Rashmika Mandanna and is releasing in three languages; Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Following the revelation of Hindi remake of the film by Karan Johar, Vijay Devarakonda in a recent interview has stated that he does not want to star in it. He had reasoned that he does not want to be a Hindi movie hero and that he sees no point in telling the same story twice.

Furthermore, Vijay Devarakonda mentioned that he cannot recreat the entire emotion and put himself through it again. He also added that he would be aware of the scenes and hence remaking the same would not excite him any longer.

The Arjun Reddy actor had stated that he would rather look out for other interesting stories out there instead of wasting six more months doing the same thing. Vijay Devarakonda yet again proves that he does not put himself under the pressure to get people into liking him.
