Vijay antony reveals the meaning of the word anti bikili in pichaikkaran 2 - Tamil Movie Cinema News

Vijay Antony's Pichaikkaran 2 is all set for a grand release in theatres on May 19 and is also his big directorial debut. The composer-turned-actor recently sat down for an exclusive interview to talk about the upcoming film, while also revealing how he came up with the tagline 'Anti-Bikili'. Vijay Antony, who is known for coining new terms in his songs like 'Dailamo' (Dishyum) and 'Ussumu Laresey' (Uthama Puthiran), opened up on the meaning behind the word 'Anti-Bikili' in Pichaikkaran 2, and said, "Only if we know the meaning of the word Bikili, we will know what Anti-Bikili is. We don't really know the meaning of Bikili because I learned about that word only now and have given it to all of you for free. Till the creation of money, we all (as a species) were happy. Science began to develop and we invented many things. All of that is okay, but poverty has grown. When there was no money, anyone could work. There would be empty lands everywhere and we could do all that we wanted to do. After money came into existence, the people who had knowledge, learned how to use it to their advantage. Those who couldn't get any money, they became poor. When we do business, we can earn and that is the profession of the rich people. But, that's not all there is to it."

Vijay Antony added, "There is a separate category in which there are people who misappropriate money, exploit the poor, and those who think they can buy anything from money, we can call them Bikili. They don't really have a name yet. We label the class separation as the rich and the poor. There are misers and spendthrifts. When you watch the film, you'll know in detail what that is."
