Vijay Antony is celebrating his birthday today (July 24) and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters for the talented star actor. Marking the special occasion, the first look poster of his next film Ratham has been released and it looks intense and powerful. From what we see, it looks like the film will showcase Vijay Antony in a completely different dimension. The poster also has a build up tagline that gives a brief description of Vijay Antony's character and it reads - When the land was plunged into darkness one man stood up to fight.

The poster has grabbed the attention of the film buffs and has made them look forward to watching the film. Produced by Kamal Bohra under the banner of Infiniti Film Ventures, the film has cinematography handled by Gopi Amarnath and editing by TS Suresh. Ratham is directed by CS Amudhan who is known for his spoof comedy films like Tamizh Padam and Tamizh Padam 2 and this one is his first attempt at a different genre. It is going to be exciting to see what he has in store for the audience. Ratham is touted to be an intensely political action drama which will have three female leads - Ramya Nambeesan, Mahima Nambiar, and Nandita Swetha.

Details regarding the release plans of the film are yet to be known and further details are awaited. The shooting of Ratham has been wrapped up and the post production works are happening in full throttle.
