One of the most celebrated weddings of 2022 was that of Vignesh Shivan and Lady Superstar Nayanthara. The two leading film personalities started dating nearly 7 years back during the filming of the 2015 action comedy film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan which was directed by the former and starred the latter along with Vijay Sethupathi. The couple officially tied to knot on 9 June 2022 in the presence of close friends, family, and a few esteemed guests including Mani Ratnam and the Baadshah of Bollywood himself - Shah Rukh Khan.

The two just recently returned back from their Thailand getaway where they went for their honeymoon. Vignesh Shivan dropped an unseen image earlier with Nayanthara from their dreamy wedding ceremony. The filmmaker shared the image to wish celebrity wedding photographer, Joseph Radhik, on his birthday.

Sharing the picture on his Instagram handle, he wrote, "Happy birthday to you magician @josephradhik ! Glad to know you and happy to have u capture the greatest moments of our life :) you and your team are too good and very sweet :) @storiesbyjosephradhik you guys are awesome ;) @shaadisquad @altair_decor". Now that the pair are back in town, they are expected to start working on their respective projects in the near future. They both each have a number of projects in their kitty. The Lady Superstar was last seen in O2 which was released on the Disney+Hotstar. She is currently awaiting the release of the Malayalam film Gold in which she will be seen acting alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. She has also got the Telugu film Godfather (remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer) with Chiranjeevi. The Tamil films that she is working on are Iraivan and Connect. She is also making her big Bollywood debut with the Atlee-directed film Jawan opposite King Khan himself who attended her wedding.

On the other hand, after the success of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vignesh Shivan is working with Ajith Kumar on his 62nd film which is tentatively titled AK62 at the moment. No other details regarding the film have been revealed.
