Vijayashanthi Srinivas is a popular producer, a politician and actor for over 30 years with 180 feature films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. She is returning to the silver screens after over 13 long years, with Mahesh Babu's 26th movie, Sarileru Neekevvaru. The movie is directed by Anil Ravipudi and now in the current schedule, Vijayashanthi seems to have joined the cast of the movie. On that note, the director took to his twitter and wrote, "After 13 years.. It's make up time for Vijayashanthi garu.. Nothing has ever changed in all these 13 years. She was last seen in the Telugu movie, Naayudamma, released in the year 2006, essaying the character Naayudamma aka Jhansi. It is to be noted that Vijayashanthi Srinivas won the National Film Award for Best Actress for the movie Karthavyam, released in the year 1990. Sarileru Neekevvaru will have Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and is slated to release on Sankranthi 2020.
