Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is the latest Tamil film to have been acquired by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies for the theatrical distribution and the official announcement regarding the same was made this morning (July 9). Red Giant Movies will be releasing this Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial across Tamil Nadu on a record number of screens on September 15. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies had previously presented the classic hit film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa in 2010 and after 12 long years, the successful collaboration is set to repeat once again.

The announcement tweet from the official Twitter handle of Red Giant Movies read, "Red Giant Movies is proud to join hands with @VelsFilmIntl for the Tamil Nadu Theatrical distribution of @menongautham & @SilambarasanTR_ 's #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu! Worldwide release on Sep 15th ✨ 🎉 #VTKOnSep15th @Udhaystalin @arrahman @IshariKGanesh @MShenbagamoort3". Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and this one is expected to be completely different from the usual GVM films.

Silambarasan TR is said to have delivered one of his best performances and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing it. Produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International, the film will have music composed by the legendary A.R.Rahman whose single song, 'Kaalathukkum Nee Venum' has already found a special place in the hearts of music lovers. The rest of the songs are expected to be released in August through a grand audio launch event. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu features Siddhi Idnani as the female lead, while Siddique, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Neeraj Madhav, Appukutty, and others form the supporting cast.

The shooting of the film has been completed and the post production works are happening in full swing. Silambarasan TR will be seen playing the character of Muthu in this intense action thriller that has story penned by Jeyamohan.
