Bigg Boss Ultimate, the latest version of Bigg Boss Tamil, is currently streaming 24/7 on Disney+Hotstar, and has been receiving a staggering feedback from fans. The Tamil reality show is the first-ever exclusive OTT version and is not being aired on Vijay Television as like Bigg Boss Tamil, which has been telecast on the channel for five seasons to date. Streaming throughout the day, Bigg Boss Ultimate, which does not include any major cuts, had kicked off with 14 contestants from the previous editions, and currently has 10 participants in the house.

'Ulaganyagan' Kamal Haasan had launched Bigg Boss Ultimate as the host before announcing his exit from the show due to the scheduling conflicts for his upcoming film Vikram. As his replacement, leading Tamil actor Silambarasan TR has been announced to be the show's new host, with Disney+Hotstar releasing a special promo informing fans about him coming on board. Apart from Simbu joining Bigg Boss Ultimate, Vanitha Vijayakumar from the show has been in the news over the past couple of days. The actress, who was seen walking out of the Bigg Boss Ultimate house yesterday, has now taken to social media to explain the real reason for her exit from the show.

On Thursday, Vanitha tweeted, "To those silly gossip mongers who connect my exit from #BBUltimate to #ramyakrishna  😂🤭🤣...I chose to respect myself...i was mentally traumatized and couldn't take anymore of the chaos...I chose to be brave enough to make a bold decision..i sincerely thank endemol and Disney." She added, "Team for understanding my situation and cooperating with me .life gives you choices and you chose what works for you..I've always made strong decisions and never repented because I know what I want and what I am worth...too grown up for silly games..let the kids enjoy the drama👍🏼"
