A film that has been making a massive roar right from its announcement two years back, actor Ajith Kumar's Valimai directed by H. Vinoth and produced under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner is gearing up for a grand Pongal 2022 theatrical release. Post the release of a special glimpse of Valimai, the team is currently busy with the post-production works, with Boney Kapoor surprising fans on Saturday by sharing a special message for 'Thala' fans everywhere. Taking to social media, the blockbuster producer showered praises on Ajith for pursuing his dreams, while also sharing a few unseen pictures of the superstar from the Wagah border where he was recently spotted during his bike trip. 

Tweeting photos of Ajith, Boney Kapoor wrote, "Nothing can stop him from living his passion and making his each dream come true. Universally Loved. #AjithKumar." The actor had watched the parade proceedings at the Wagah border, while also taking pictures with Army jawans and is reportedly said to be en route to Kathmandu now. 'Thala', as Ajith is fondly called by his fans, returned to India after completing the final schedule of Valimai after which he kicked off his road trip across the country from Chennai to Kathmandu. The actor had also travelled to Delhi and visited the Taj Mahal, with pictures of him surrounded by fans in front of the great monument taking social media by storm. As for his Valimai, the film is the second consecutive collaboration for Ajith with director H. Vinoth, producer Boney Kapoor and composer Yuvan Shankar Raja after the staggering success of their Nerkonda Paarvai in 2019. It was also officially confirmed a while back that Ajith, H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor will be teaming up for the third time for an upcoming venture. Valimai will see Ajith sharing screen space with Huma S. Qureshi who is playing the female lead, with Telugu actor Kartikeya cast as the antagonist, followed by Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar, Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, Pugazh among others in supporting roles.
