Leading Tamil actor-producer and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin's next big film, Maamannan, is gearing up for a big theatrical release soon in the days ahead and Red Giant Movies has now dropped a big update signaling the start of promotions. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mari Selvaraj, the highly-anticipated film will have its first look released on Monday, May 1, on the special occasion of International Labor Day. Maamannan is coming out amidst massive excitement as the upcoming film is expected to be Udhayanidhi Stalin's last film as an actor after which he will be diving into politics full-time.
Announcing the Maamannan first look release date, Red Giant Movies also shared a new poster teasing a face-off between Udhayanidhi Stalin and 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu who will be seen in a key role. Although the new glimpse doesn't offer much, it does hint a big confrontation between the duo and gives audiences an idea about what they can look forward to when the film arrives in theatres soon. The hype for Maamannan instantly skyrocketed after the film power-packed star cast was revealed to include Udhayanidhi Stalin and Vadivelu sharing screen space with National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh and Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil among others in key roles. The film is also Mari Selvaraj's next after Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan and fans are banking on him to come out with yet another riveting and thought-provoking entertainer.
